Psycho, TOTALLY dig your style! Very crisp, very clean, and enjoyable to look at. Great work!
I haven't posted any pics for a while because there has been something wrong with my scanner but I managed to fix it and here are a few new pics.
A Batman sketch.
The Inked version(coloured version will be up soon):
And the last one for now,
I like the way youve added the feeling of movement, like they're walking.
Yeah, My dad was telling me a while back that even just a little hint of movement can make a pic feel so much more alive.
Sounds like you're dad knows what hes talking about
those are pretty good, although shouldnt that muscle on batmans left leg be on his inner leg and not his outer?
There's muscles on both the inner and outer thighs. Here:
Notice the outer leg muscle is slightly more pronounced.
Coloured version of the Batman pic
Quicksilver pic I did last night
I have recieved some criticism on how I draw women, And I want to say that I am grateful for that because without constructive criticism and great advice I probably wouldn't get any better.
I am very proud of the pic below because I think its the best picture of a female character I have ever drawn. I know its not perfect but her hands aren't to big, her pose is excactly the way I pictured it and her face looks pretty good.
Well Psycho, try making the waist very thin if you plan on using an animation style. Keep in mind there more softer curves a woman's body than a man's.
Bring your hip line up a bit more, and try not to make her shoulders so muscular. Wonder Woman, and Big Barda would have shoulders like that, but, not Bat-Girl.
also, her calves are huge, and knees too circular
I'm back after barely posting at all for a while(school is taking up most of my time these days) Here is a fresh bunch of pics.
Ultimate Cyclops and Wolverine
Spidey swinging around
Spidey, Batman, Wolverine, Superman and that fist with the ring is supposed to be Green Lantern
A fully coloured Ultimate Cyclops
i think i figured out why your women look off....
and ill use this as a quote from one of my instuctors at school... "WOMEN ARE NOTHING BUT CURVES" and i look at this and see very few curves... i understand and see how it works for your men.. but u need to add more to your women.. because so far your women come off very mascualine.. there muscles are a bit too big as well... but this so far is probably one of your best females
This is a character I thought of last Friday and have been working on since.
Her only weapon is the mystical sword Excalibur. She is very skilled with the sword and when it is needed the sword provides her with an indestructable armour. It also increases her strength, speed and stamina.
Nobody knows how or where she got the sword or how the sword came into existance. It is however known that the sword is an entity of its own and can communicate with its holder and helps her in battle by being able to predict the opponents next move.
nice stuff Psycho. I like your style. I won't list my favs purely becasue i like em all lol Keep up the good work
On page one of this thread there is a pic of Kitty pryde I did back in May.
After seeing the X men 3 trailer I was inspired to do another pic of Kitty and when I was looking through my album I was surprised to see the progress I have made in less than a year.
I know I still have a long way to go to better my artwork but here is a comparison of progress from May to December.
A Raphael pencil pic.
I've coloured the Raphael pic
I would love to see your take on The Slingers. If you ever have the time....
Keep them coming Psycho!
