When are characters like Shadow and Dick Tracy gonna get new movies? Speaking of Shadow, whatever happened to that movie Sam Raimi was developing as a producer?

I think there was a "Cast a Pulp Hero" thread not to long ago. But whatever

I was really looking forward to someone doing a Lone Ranger/Green hornet series. When they make a sweet Open Range-esque western with the Lone Ranger and than the actor who plays Lone Ranger plays Green Hornet (since they are related) and the GH movie would be a lot like Last Man Standing.

Isn't Johnny Depp doing the Lone Ranger? And Seth Rogen the Green Hornet.

I don't think " Dick Tracy " could be considered a pulp hero. Didn't he originate in comic strips by Chester Gould ?
