Saw it last week, very good movie.

It was one of the best films of Adam Sandler. I liked script and cast, though I thought the editing had been a bit crappy.

Still, it was very emotional drama.

My rate - 8 out of 10

I thought it was a great movie, but i never got what the hell the piano was for... i like the bit where he flips out on the guys in the truck. One of Sandlers best performances

I guess piano meant something new for him, something what was going to change his usual depressive life.

BTW, I also loved that scene

This is a great movie. I love that scene too^ He whups those guys a**es

Sandler should've stuck with this route following this movie. Instead he jumped right back into his usual crap.

Sandler is the most underrated actor in Hollywood and the most overrated. He should quit with the stupid noise idiot shtick he does and do more things like The Wedding Singer and Punch Drunk Love. He has talent, he just doesn't use it.

That's that Mattress Man! (for whatever reason that's my favourite line)

Great movie!
I also like the Mary Lynn Rajskub and Robert Smigel cameos.

Well you might be split over his next two films.

I am looking forward to 9/11 drama with him, he looks better, when he isn't fat

Yeah the Sandman was ripped back in the day :)

I know this is such a random bump, but I really wanted to comment on this. I watched it last night. I had been dying to see it, this being the only PTA film which I hadn't seen. I think I liked this more than Magnolia, it was such a treat.

Adam Sandler's character says a line in the film, which I think has to be one of the most subtle, powerful lines ever.

"I don't know if there is anything wrong because I don't know how other people are. " Wow. Loved this film. My PTA film ranking is now:

1) There Will Be Blood
2) Punch-Drunk Love
3) Magnolia
4) Boogie Nights
5) Hard Eight

The music was excellent as well.

I enjoyed Punch Drunk Love very much after finally viewing the film a few months back, but I have to say out of all the films Paul Thomas Anderson has directed thus far, PDL is probably my least favourite out of all his directorial efforts.
Though I would highly recommend anyone to check it out if they havent done so already.

He's got Zohan this summer... Bed Time stories around Christmas... I don't think he's ever going back to these types of films... haven't gotten around seeing this. I saw the one with him and Don Cheadle (forget what it was called) and his performance was touching. He needs to get back to those complex psychological characters. Needs to do it while he is still young too.

My least favorite of his (Paul Thomas Anderson), but it's strangely my favorite of Adam's career.
