SYNOPSIS

Waging his one-man war on the world of organized crime, ruthless vigilante-hero Frank Castle sets his sights on overeager mob boss Billy Russoti. After Russoti is left horribly disfigured by Castle, he sets out for vengeance under his new alias: Jigsaw. With the "Punisher Task Force" hot on his trail and the FBI unable to take Jigsaw in, Frank must stand up to the formidable army that Jigsaw has recruited before more of his evil deeds go unpunished.

I wonder if Benz's character of Angela is from the comics or an original one. The only Angela I know from the comics is the one from the Punisher War Journal story arc "An Eye For An Eye" by Carl Potts and Jim Lee. Angela was the wife of crime boss Hector Montoya.

Nick Donatelli might be Hector Montoya. If thats the case, I wonder if he's going to wear them gloves?

any news on the budget yet for the movie?

I read on your other posting about the buget maybe being a problem have you heard anything?

I've heard nothing about the budget from a reliable source but if Tom Jane is correct and it's half the budget of the first then it's just about 17 million. Considering there's NO Travolta that washes away most of that. I think it'll be fine, and this will be a Theatrical release from what everyone has told me.

I'm pretty sure Jane was just trying to rile people up or make himself laugh or something when he said that. If the budget does happen to be half of what it was before I'm going with it being a coincidence.

Even if the budget is half, which I'm sure it isn't, they don't have to worry about forking over huge amounts of money with the cast they have. Which is good cause they can spend it on other things to make the film better.


Ummmm....Russoti??? Why do they always insist on making stupid changes like that? Why not just call him Russo???

Meh, it does like a forced and unnecessary change, but for the most part he'll be known as Jigsaw, and hopefully they won't be shy with the scars.

So long as they don't change it up to Puzzle Face, I'm fine.
