Can we confirm this will be titled 9th?

Leonardo DiCaprio has said yes to starring in Quentin Tarantinos new Charles Manson-themed movie, which will reteam the actor and director from 2012s Django Unchained. The new film, Tarantinos ninth as director, was scooped up by Sony and already has an August 9, 2019 release date. The deal is expected to close soon, and this will become DiCaprios first film since he won the Oscar for The Revenant.
Tarantino has already asked Margot Robbie to play the role of Sharon Tate, and as Deadline has reported Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt have been circling the project with DiCaprio for what is known to be two meaty male roles. DiCaprios will play an aging actor in the story that is being kept under wraps but is a Pulp Fiction-esque movie set during the time of the Manson murder spree in Los Angeles.

Sources now telling me that QT is also courting Al Pacino for a supporting role in the pic. Unknown Pacino's interest compared to Leo, Cruise and Robbie but insiders do say the director personally wrote a role for the screen legend.

Just to make this more hnnngh.
Tarantino also apparently met with Dicaprio and Pacino. I hope Kurt Russell gets a part.

He also says Pitt has moved on and it's Cruise's role if he wants it.
I still don't know how we never got a Dicaprio/Cruise movie. I guess they kinda do different genres but still.

Cause most film sets are only big enough for one male lead ego. Cruise and Pitt hated working with each other on Interview with A Vampire. There could only be one alpha, mang.
I need this movie yesterday.
Leo was in The Departed and that cast was pretty much all alphas. I don't think he's got an ego problem. Cruise, on the other hand....

Man, I'm glad Pitt is out. I hate his acting work post 2000.
t:Really? Even Inglourious Basterds? One of his best roles.
He was really annoying there, imo. Pitt as an actor ended with 90s for me.Really? Even Inglourious Basterds? One of his best roles.
