Comics Question about Layla

ok, i looked around, didnt know where else to ask this.

Ok, i heard about HoM, never read any of it, though i did hear that Prof. X went missing.
He apperantly still is. Right?
Then I heard about a new character popin up outta nowhere. Layla.
I thought back then that it was just Prof. X makin everyone think he was a lil girl - i dont know how, or why, but i thought thats what happened to him.
She was able to unlock everyones mind and give them memories.
I just read the New X-Factor, and she seems like she's hiding something.

So, am I just reading too much into it, or does it seem that Layla and Charles are the same person?

No, Professor X has been found, during Deadly Genesis, and he'll be appearing in Uncanny X-Men soon. Layla Miller is her own person.

and i hope she's REAL!!. i would be uber pissed if it turned out the Wanda MADE her. i'm already getting use to the fact about the young avengers kids, please stop it there.

I dont know, But its looks like Wanda create her....... writers says that she is the "X Factor", Emma Frost says that Layla is a psychic and is not a psychic at the same time. there's something fishy about her........
