I really don't know what forum to put this in.

I don't think there is a costume one.

So forgive me if this is in the wrong place.

I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to make a convincing faceless mask for a Question costume.

So any tips would be appreciated.

The mask used in the first Halloween movie was a William Shatner mask painted white. If you could find a cheap mask and paint it or turn it inside out you would only have to make some slight modifications to it.

PM The Question. I remember him posting a great looking costume, and telling people exactly how he made it a while back.

I never made a costume. But I had a brilliant idea of how to make one. And it was as thus:

Assuming you want to be able to see with the mask, my advice is to make most of the mask out of a fleshy, caucasian tone rubber. With the eyes, you have eye holes in the mask. You then have silvery goggles or lenses of some kind under the mask, and then put flesh toned nylon from stockings over the lenses. If you pull the hat down far enough, the shadows'll make it look like you have no eyes.

It's a pretty vague idea, I know, but I think it'd work.

Cheesecloth dyed skin tone. Just spirit-gum to your face and even out the edges with makeup. You can see through it fine, and from more than an inch or so away it's opaque. I've seen it done before and it gives good results very easily.

Question's method is feasible, and may be a little better, but a whole hell of a lot harder.
