Question for PS2 owners...

Does anyone know, by chance, if the silver wire that connects to the reset/eject button can be fixed or replaced? I have an older PS2 and that particular wire is worned out at the end where it connects to the buttons.

Turn the PS2 upside down and look along the back left. Under the rear panel is the self destruct button. Push it twice and throw it the hell out the window. You will want ear protection.
