Nope, 'cause guaranteed, I'll end up getting it as a gift for X-mas from a (clueless) friend or co-worker. :whatever:

Nope, not getting it. Why spend my money on a film that I don't like when I can invest it buying other more interesting movies...?
same,i didnt like it at all, so why bother buying it.

Why would I buy a Superman movie where Superman is mean to his dog, and is a peeping tom and a trespasser. Lex's plan was terrible, why would anyone want to buy land on New Krytpton where there's nothing but black sharp rocks everywhere. The movie has no setup, who's this guy? For the rest of the film he hardly says a word. So no I won't be buying this movie on DVD.

i'm getting SR with the 14 disc Superman set.

its got better designs anyway.

I'll not waste my money on a movie that disappointed me, I shall purchase the Donner cut of Superman II..a better investment in my opinion...

The movie was decent, but the more i hear about what was taken out, changed or edited. The more i think it could have been better, blame the director.

I'll wait till it comes out on cable. Not pay per view either. It's at the 50 cent movie, won't go see it there either. No desire to see it.

Those who believe SR gonna make millions in DVD sale will be disappointed again. sorry to say that.

mopho, knock it off. Nothing wrong being a Marvel fan, I am

im not judging marvel fans, im judging people that think a movie is better cause it has more cgi or action thats all

You know, you can argue about anything else but that. That is just the stupidest argument that keeps coming up. Look buddy, I don't know of any piece of land thats in livable form without a few changes happening to it. Cutting down tree's, straightening out the ground, digging, etc.

No piece of land is livable as is. Changes need to be made, the same thing goes with the piece of land he grew. Of course it wasn't livable when it first came to be, but with a few changes being made, people WOULD be able to live on it.

Oh yes it was. There were trees to cut down to make houses and firewood. There were rocks and clay to make fireplaces and chimneys. There were animals to kill and eat o plenty. There were plants, fruits and vegetables to eat already growing. They had to take those raw materials and make stuff with or hunt, but everything was there. This is a black ugly rock that has traces of Kryptonite in it, which, by the way as JL showed, even though it does not have immediate effects on humans, but in close contact over long periods and it is deadly to humans as well. So eventually everyone living on it, including Lex himself, would get radiation poisoning over a period of time. Also, nothing is growing on it. There are no animals to eat naturally roaming around the thing. They could fish but what about the people alergic to fish? Sucks for them.

And it was a totally stupid plan that Warner's should have caught before they started filming.

You can't grow a tree or grow grass without soil, and the only way to dig up rock is with dynamite it's a barren wasteland. So as I said how can you live on rock, you can't grow crops, and cows and other live tock will have nothing to eat, they will die.

Well wasnt Lex now a millionaire? I'm sure he could have had plenty of stuff delivered to NK to make it into a place were people would want to live.

For the ones that hated/didnt like the movie/disappointed..my question is this..are you still buying the dvd when it comes out? if so..why? i'd like to see some discussion on this matter.. :super:

I might NetFlix it.

Yes, only because it is part of the 14-disc set. I'm not going to open it in the store, pull out the 2 discs, step on them at the register, then pay for a 12-disc set.

jus tto let you guys who arent buying the movie and saying theres too may plot holes... you know thrers gonna be 15-20 of the cut footage shown right?

Great...an even longer and slower version of Superman Returns. Yeah, that'll help.

Making something longer, does not necessarily make it better!

i'm disappointed with the movie, but i'd still buy the DVD because i'm a superhero movies fan - not because i support the movie

i don't care whether Singer would later include the Krypton footage or not, the movie or the story itself doesn't hold much interest for me any more - Singer can go all "Wrath of Khan" or even "Kramer VS Kramer" on the next continuity, i won't give a damn about it
