The Dark Knight Question For UK Fans-

I wanna see I AM LEGEND anyway so I maight as well watch it with that

If it's on at The Printworks, I'll be there . . . but I'll watch it online too ;)

I'll be watching it as soon as I can.
I hope i dont have to see something else as well

Well I would love to see it in IMAX but the track record for TDK stuff and anything outside the U.S hasn't been good, which is unfortunate for something as big as this. I think the worst thing will be not that it probably won't come to the UK but trying to discuss it with our american counterparts having only a veign yet heroic attempt to fit an entire IMAX screen into frame for youtube to go by.

Just remember that BB was shown on IMAX at the Printworks.

I fookin hope it gets attached to the Will Smith picture, obviously I'll find out before going to watch it.

The only IMAX screen I know of in the country is at the Manchester Odeon in the Printworks installation.
Though there is probably also one in London.

There are at least two in London. One outside Waterloo station. And one in the Science museum in South Kensington, though unlikely the latter one will be showing 'I Am Legend'. You never know though.

And wtf with delayed UK dates? Ok, I know Batman is an American superhero, and there's probably a bigger market audience in the States, but Christian Bale is British, as is Chris Nolan. Can't they show some home love?

It will be tough to decide wether to watch it or not if it gets leaked to youtube and it's also going to be attached to I am Legend.

I hate the delayed UK release dates.

theres one in Picadilly in London aye

and surely homogenized release dates have a possibility of cutting piracy, to an extent, maybe :p

I thought there was an Imax at Waterllo because you go past it on the train but I wasn't sure. Thanks for clearing that up

Nolans got dual British American Citzenship and Bales been living in America since the 90's I think. But yeah we should definetly get bumped up. Not to mention they filmed parts of the film here as they did with Batman Begins as well.

Perhaps it was a studio choice. I don't think directors have a say when their movies and stuff are released or when.

I want to see "I Am Legend;" but to see the prologue, I would have to travel an hour, both ways, and pay fifteen dollars.

Considering over the half the information I get is over the internet, I will, most likely, see the prologue online.

However, I do want to see "I Am Legend;" and if I can get some friends to ride with me, and split gas money, sure, I would pay the fifteen dollars to get into IMAX.

Edit: I live in Georgia; I guess this doesn't, fully, apply to me.

Thats the thing, it would cut piracy.
I don't see why we always gets these seperate release dates.:cmad:

The prologue and the actual film release dates in the UK are a month after the US release. The only sector in which the powers are starting to show sense is in videogames. Halo 3 was released in the EU only a day after it's NA debut.

I hope the film industry catches up with big event pictures soon 'cause it pisses me off for real. Rant over.

i personally dont see the point in watching 10mins of the film. cos u'll get into it then bam its over. then you regret it lol

lol you know you would. its like eating one piece of a choclate bar. or playing 1 min of a song.

I will watch it online whilst working, drinking coffee, whisky and aspirin, downloading porn, sending an email, chatting on MSN, playing thing thing arena, and throwing a toy mouse to my cat.

Cinemas are the tyranny of inactivity!
