A while back when X3 was getting ready to come out uncannyxmen.net did a feature about all the characters that have appeared in the movies and their comic counterparts. While I can't find the article anymore I clearly remember the entry about William Stryker said that he was only in one X-Men Graphic Novel and that he was very different from his movie counterpart. Does anyone one know which graphic novel they're talking about?

God Loves, Man Kills.

He also appeared in God Loves, Man Kills part two, an arc during X-treme X-Men and a recent arc of New X-Men.

God Loves, Man Kills is included in the new printings of Essential X-Men Volume 4. It is very good too.

Can't we just pretend that GLMKII never happened? Please?

GLMKII was the X-Treme arc, those aren't two arcs.

And I second Mr Summer's motion... although from the look of "crusade" (New X-Men's run) they already did

since it was missing a "," behind X-Treme X-Men it read like two separate things.

I read it as the GLMKII being used as a modifier for "an arc in X-Treme".

Kinda like the phrase "Fido, a short brown dachsund".

Comic Stryker is a crazy bigot televangelist.

In order to be that, it should've had a comma at the end of the modifier, otherwise it's a list. Propper punctuation and grammar needs to be used in posts... I remember once ranting about it, but someone deleted the post ¬¬

Oh boo hoo, like you've never made any kind of mistake. Move on.

I just remembered that the trade of the X-Treme X-Men "God Loves, Man Kills" story also contains the original one.

Yes, that's how I got the story in the first place... I wa always reluctant to buy it... didn't like the cover :p I was fairly surprised when I found it at the end of the X-Treme TPB, I had no idea it was there :p
