just have a couple of questions before i go out and get one...

1. How close to the TV do you have to be to not have any problems with the wiimote? i ask this because i enjoy sitting on my couch about 10-12 feet away and relax instead of being 5 feet from the screen.

2. On games like Zelda for instance, do you HAVE to swing it the whole time for the sword, or is there a button option? for instance if i get sick of swinging it back and forth, could i just start pushing a button instead.

3. In my mind it looks like useing the wiimote, would be a B**** trying to play a game using a 'tv remote control' looking controller. its just hard to believe i could comfortably play a game using my tv remote. so is it that hard to use? is it even near the size of a TV remote?

1. should be no problem at all

2. you don't have to swing it like a sword, just shake from side to side a little bit with your wrist

3. the fact that it's easy to use is one of it's main selling points

appreciate it man. im excited about getting a wii but they are damn impossible to find. walmart gets a shipment the 6th but if i dont get one then i have no idea when or if they would get another shipment before xmas...and best buy of course wont tell anyone when they get shipments

I heard people are having better luck with Target, Toys R Us, and Circuit City

1. The further, the better (for the sensor in particular). I went into a different room and turned off the controller in my hand. When I went back into the room with my Wii it was turned off too. Gyroscopically speaking though, the further back in viewing distance, the better.

2. You'd have to play it to dispell that thought. Trust me, it won't require that much effort.

3. Playing is believing. If you're on the fence on the system's biggest selling point, then you don't know Wii.

4. You won't be able to just 'go out and get one'. I know you didn't ask, but being the loving superstar I am, I thought I'd just add that one for free.

As many have mentioned:

The further the better. I sit about 2 ft from my TV (its 20' screen) and i have to back up sometimes because I'm too far.

You just shake it back and forth. And you don't even use the sword a whole lot, even in the boss battles.

I was very apprehensive with playing the Wiimote, especially for Zelda. Now, I cannot go back to playing it with a GC controller. And the Wiimote is comfortable. I palyed about 6hrs in one sitting. I would not have done that if it was uncomfortable.
