Hey everyone I host a podcast called Super Hero Speak. And we will be interviewing Sam Witwer (Doomsday from Smallville) on an up coming episode.

I was wondering if you guys had any questions for him. Let me know and I might use them on air.

HE was also Crash Down on Battlestar, Starkiller in the force unleashed games the voice of Darth Maul on the Clone Wars cartoon and is currently Aidan Waite on Being Human.

You can check out my show here: http://superherospeak.com/wp/

Well, I actually grew to be a fan of his ever since seeing his work on SV and even on SW, so if I may ask just these questions:

1. Prior towards Callum Blue being announced to play Zod for Season 9, was Sam ever originally intended to portray Zod due to how they had Faora saying that he was the splitting image of him?

2. Has he tried out or is he interested in pursuing any roles for the upcoming Star Wars: Episode 7 film?

3. Does he have a preference in portraying a hero or a villain?

Thanks Herolee10. Good questions! Anyone else?

Do you have a favorite superhero?

Are you interested in ever playing Batman?

I mean, come one! The guy is perfect for Batman!

I got to meet Sam back in February, and I was surprised when he said he wasn't happy at all with how Davis Bloome was eventually treated. I'd asked him for his honest feelings on a scale of 1 - 10, with ten being highest praise. After a few moments, he said "one". It turns out that he was not happy about Davis killing Jimmy, going so far as to write the producers a letter about it, before the episode was shot. He read the script, and realized it was a huge opposite turn for what they'd built up over Season 8. He did say he enjoyed working with the people on the show, but ultimately felt that his run as Davis was largely a missed opportunity for something greater.

I also spoke with him about the "Clone Wars" cartoon, where he voices Darth Maul. He said he didn't study Ray Park so much, but rather voice actor Peter Serafinowicz, who dubbed the character for "The Phantom Menace".
