Quick Hawk-Girl Question

..just cleaning up my pull list for year end, getting ready to send my new list to the LCS, I've dropped several titles at year end and am looking to replace them ...try a hand at some characters I know little about....

...so Hawk-girl....anyone have an opinion on the title?...would it be hard for me to catch up with the back history keeping in mind I have no idea what happened to her male counter part let alone anything about her...

...let me know your opinions on the title...and thanks in advance

I picked it up after the OYL jump and dropped it shortly thereafter. It just wasn't worth it. If I need a Hawkgirl fix, I'll get it from reading JLA or by queuing up some Justice League/JLU.

Don't have to drop it, haven't ordered it yet.....pretty bad huh?....oh well...back to scanning the DC & Marvel websites ....not just on your rec but Mister J's as well...as well as the fact that I've never ever heard anyone mention the title here....thanks to you both

Did they explain away her return to normal size after she was made into a giant following IC?

I was waiting for it in 52 but they never did it so did they do it in her comics?

I have collected all of this volume of Hawkman series, and really, really enjoyed it. But when they switched it over to just Hawkgirl I have liked it less and less to the point of cancelling the title from my pull-list.

In my opinion the art is poor and so is the story. I started reading this book for Hawkman. He was interesting, Hawkgirl not so much for me.
