With the success of The Punisher it got me thinking on how a darker incarnation of the Defenders would do and who would be the best characters to introduce to it.
Here are my picks:
The Punisher - Obviously with the success of his show and massive popularity it would make sense to include the darkest Marvel character to feature on screen yet to draw in viewers from The Punisher & Daredevil season 2. Also after how season 1 of the Punisher ended it would be interesting to see how he's drawn in to this.
Blade - People have been pining for more Blade since Snipes hung up his swords and sun glasses. While a lot of people want to see him get his own movie I would be surprised if Marvel wanted to green light an R-Rated movie not called Deadpool. So adding him to the Defenders could be the only way to get him back on screen.
Moon Knight - If there is one of the characters that I would bet Marvel already have something in the works for it would be Moon Knight. Few other notable characters would slot as well in to the Defenders.
