Sorry, I didn't see a thread about this so if there is one, ignore away, but Radiohead just announced their latest album, and making it available THIS Saturday! You can pre-order it now:

I love it how they give about 5-days notice while everyone else hypes their new albums for like 6 months.

Aw man, I do not buy albums these days because I can't afford them, but when this comes out on CD i might have to get it, their last one was truly a work of art, i heard 'Jigsaw Falling into Place'; this morning on the radio, that songs does things to me, makes me feel like i can do anything.

What no pay what you want this time? lol I love how they just spring this on the world.

Vinyl................_______________.................MP3

Oh Radiohead, you so crazy.

I'm surprised at this news, the album was due to release sometime last year but the latest I've heard of it was Selway saying that they start from scratch, so I wasn't expecting it to release until later this year. So again, I was surprised of this news, but it's a good one.

Finally they announce their new album. Can't wait!

They did that before with the Bends, I had a Melody Maker that had an indepth article on the studio recording for that album. They said they recorded twelve songs for their second album, but sounded too like 'Guns N Roses', so scrapped the whole album and started work on it again. I guess this is when they truly found themselves as a band, because their first album was not a good album, but all the others are exceptional works. 'Creep' was the only good one on the first album, the guitarist Johhny Greenwood didn't even like that one, that's why you hear him playing all that crazy ****ed up guitar on it, because he wanted to screw with the song, but it ended up adding a extra enjoyable dimension to it.

The Kings of Limbs is officially available for download now. :awesome:

This whole album is freaking awesome. I'd even put forth the cajones to say it's their best... and I LOVE their albums.

First single - "Lotus Flower"

I will admit though, it took me about 5 listens before it really sinked into me. Now I can't stop listening to it. I put this song on a continuous loop, and have heard it 20 times in one sitting, lol.

Incredible album, what else would you expect?

ok, i only heard it once this morning on the radio,, so am embedding this song to listen to:

I've listened to it 4 times now, and I can't stop. I honestly think the last 3 tracks on this album are among the most gorgeous they've ever made. "Little By Little" is a new fave as well.

^ Little By Little is great. I think Bloom and Lotus Flower are my faves right now, but that'll change. Its much darker than In Rainbows.

I didn't care for the album at all aside from the first single. I am disappoint.

to each their own.

I dig it. I wasn't blown away by this album, and I don't like it as much as I liked in Rainbows. Its decent though. Chilled tunes to do my work to.

Lotus Flower/Codex is an epic combo. Love this album.

I've only listened to it once, but so far, I'm not really diggin it. I'm a pretty big RH fan, but ever since Thom York released his solo album, I haven't been able to get into their newer stuff. I liked 1-2 songs on the solo, and I think 1, maybe 2 songs on In Rainbows. So far, I don't like any songs on The King of Limbs. I'll give it a few more spins, but so far, not a fan.

Still LOVE their old albums, though. ;)

Give it more of a chance. After my first listen I thought it was horrible, maybe my least favorite of theirs (yes, even worse than Pablo Honey). Now it's probably my favorite since Amnesiac. It sounds like its the first record where they actually tried to do something different since Kid A. I like In Rainbows and HTTT but both sounded like Radiohead just going through the motions.
