Radiohead is better than 100% of everyone else.

Ever hear Street Spirit? That song sucks the soul out of me. It's crazy.

The first album to really blow me away in a while was OK Computer

A band with one good song and a handful of awesome riffs and ideas wasted in meandering, self-indulgent Nu-Prog boredom anthems.....w00pty-d00pedy.

But you don't think that "Creep" is their "one good song," though, do you? It's probably their most popular but definitely not their best.

Even if you dont like them, you gotta give them props for releasing an album at any price the consumer will pay. Want it for free, take it. Want to pay for it, do so.

I personally will pay the $15 for this cd, especially if its DRM free.

how come it has stopped surprising me whenever you come up with something like this?

will, no offense dude, but it's becoming predictable

lol, nowhere near as predictable as the fact that all the hipsters love Radiohead, lol.
It's the law.
I, I dare to admit that I can't make it all the way through most of their songs. Their songs should be an installation in a gallery, but I don't actually want to have to listen to them.

My suspicion is that it's because you have to be stoned to enjoy their post-Creep music...because once I did really enjoy their 20 minute long computer-talking dynamic-olympics and suicidal crybaby caterwhaulyrics, and it was when my roommate got me stoned and I was drunk enough to overpower the usual terror/paranoia-inducing effects of the marijuana.

I'm just from the "Rock Songs Should Be 3 Minutes Long And Have A Chorus, Verses, A Bridge, A Solo, And Then Fade Away" Camp. Sorry.

Do you like green eggs and ham?

Only if the green is foil wrapping and the eggs are chocolate.
Ham's fine tho.

One of the ten best bands out there, if not in my top five. I just read the article on Green Plastic, and apparently they're letting you choose how much you want to pay for the digital download.

I'll be getting the CD package, but that's simply awesome.

actually, the only album of theirs which I don't like that much is Pablo Honey, and while I have occasionally listened to them while stoned, I also have learned a lot from their musical output, I've heard them throw more musical ideas in one song than some bands throw in an album

and while I also enjoy the whole "wham, bam, thank you mam" 3 minutes and my version of the truth approach to rock, I also like it when it rises above those conformisms and dares to break its own rules and to be more transcendent

it's only rock and roll

They have about 3 awesome albums, and I'm looking forward to seeing how their new ablum is. They've evolved and changed over the years for the better. Except for their last new album like two years ago. Didn't care for that one so much. But yeah, Radiohead, in the top 5 best bands of the 90's.

Just ordered the discbox. Expensive, but worth it. Can't wait for the 10th.

I love news like this.

if you think they are gonna have another 'the bends' up their sleeves, you are mistaken. the last couple including yorkes solo stuff has been pretty mediocre. but its a cool move for what it could mean....
