I'm pretty pissed 'cause when my singer and I were "between projects" years ago, it coincided with the effing Andy Kaufman/Danny Elfman genius of S.L.C. at the time also being free, and we were drinking at a show and started writing a "What if Zack had been around during the Hatfields and McCoys bumpkin fued" song that was so good, with the

*Hatfields and mcCoys...We must have a WAr*
*Hatfields and McCoys...We must have a WAR*

but we never finished it and of course forgot all the "genius" verses, in our drunkeness. :csad:

Zack: Corporate America is evil!
Producer: Zack, here's your royalty check from Hot Topic.

well, let's not be too upset about it.
I mean, Fanboys will flock to this even if it was just De La Rocha reading the Phonebook.

"Matthews, Janet 619-234-2564 !!!:cmad::cmad:
Matthews, Robert 619-912-2768 !!!:cmad::cmad:"

Duende needs to Photoshop a pic of Zack's onstage antics around an ATM machine.

The validity of a band or artist's political stance being based on Danny's personal musical tastes notwithstanding, here's a bunch of artists I can think of off the top of my head that are all politically active both in their music and in promoting political awareness to their audiences. And, yes, I believe all of them are American:

Ani DiFranco
Bob Dylan
Henry Rollins
System Of A Down
Disturbed
Death Cab For Cutie
Lenny Kravitz
Erykah Badu
Dave Matthews Band
Bad Religion
NOFX
Anti-Flag
Ministry
dead prez
Kurtis Blow
Bustah Rhymes
Mary Blige
LL Cool J
P. Diddy
Allman Brothers
Bela Fleck
Santana
Pearl Jam
Mark Anthony
DJ Spooky

I'm sure there are plenty I'm missing that someone else could add to the list.

Everyone is making a big deal about Zach, Im personally more excited to hear Morello and his sick ass solos.

Could someone copy/paste the article please? the LA times wants me to sign up...

That doesn't excite me because after hearing Audioslave, where he could finally Rock out, unfettered by a Rap zombie, he's...obviously lost his sick-ass. :csad:

yeah, I remember the first record had a little not like " no synths were used in the making of this record" and I was like

"oh, all these blippy-bloppy/screeching is being made by one Tom Morello...sweet"

but then, back in the 90's I listened to "The Black Crows" quite un-ironically

He's showing signs of life again on the newest Audioslave album. But, yeah, the previous efforts make it sound like he's dead below the waist.
