Beginning episodes of STAS joined together on DVD as a film. Just such a great portrayal of the origin. The only thing I can imagine surpassing it is if they made an animated Birthright somewhere down the line.

The STAS 3-part origin is solid, but for me – just like the rest of the show – nothing special. A 7/10 in my book. I dig the first, Krypton centered, episode the most.

It's a tie for me between Man of Steel & Superman Returns. Each bring different qualities and each has its own faults (MOS has a very poorly structured script, Returns brings a lot of the camp and bad choices from the Donner films).

All-Star Superman wasn't adapted all that well imo, but it's still quite a good film.

The Reeve films I don't much care for except Reeve as Superman. Too campy and 70s for my taste.
