Hi all. Partially inspired by a discusison in the Thor (Spoilers) forum, I was wondering how people would rank Thor in comparison to the other films that have been made thus far based on characters from Marvel's vast library, both those produced by Marvel Studios directly as well as those produced by other studios.

Personally, I'm ranking the film (Thor) in my list of Top 3 favorite Marvel Superhero-based films (along with Spider-Man 2 and X2: X-Men United), and even though it falls behind both of those films in said list, I think it's actually just as good as both.

Ok, I know this is totally ridiculous but I'm bored so here goes for theatrical only:

THE GREAT:
Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2 (2004)
Bryan Singer’s X2: X-Men United (2003)
Stephen Norrington’s Blade (1998)

THE GOOD:

Jon Favreau’s Iron Man 2 (2010)

Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man (2002)
Mark Steven Johnson’s Daredevil: Director’s Cut (2003/2005)
