In 1989 when Jack Nicholson was being cast as the famous Batman rogue The Joker, he did something that had never really been done before in his contract. Nicholson negotiated to get a portion of the revenue from the licensed merchandise as a part of his salary. This was a very smart move on Jacks part and started a trend for future contract negotiations with actors.
When Kenner toy company took over the license from Toy Biz, new sculpts were created for the Keaton Batman and Nicholson Joker figure for the Dark Knight Collection line. While the Keaton figure did have familiar features that people would recognize, the Joker figure beared very few resemblences to Nicholson himself. This was somthing that he overlooked but one thing that he didnt understand, as did alot of collectors, even to this day, there was no accurate costume for the toy. Due to this, Nicholson asked to have a figure that beared some close likeness to what he portrayed in the movie. The customizers at Kenner handpainted one of the existing Knock Out Joker figures in the correct costume colors that Jack wore in the movie. It also came with his trademark long barreled gun instead of the playful "Bang" flag gun.
This item has been a part of a private collection for 18 years and has remained unseen until now. This may truly be the "Holy Grail" for Batman 1989 movie collectors.

I would hope that you guys have realized this story was just made up by me to needlessly draw attention to my little custom here. LOL I'm sorry, but it was fun.
