Nah, it might've wasted time since he wouldn't have been able to repair him too much.

Well, if I'm not mistaken all he does is fire that little red laser like thing which repairs a certain amount of damage each time. At least that's what I picked up from watching the movie.

Thats only one bit we saw in the movie though, he may have more to his arsenal for repairs than that. The laser just may have been for vocal processors.

He did a lot of repairing in the cartoon.

It would've been cool seeing him tend to Bumblebee while Jazz and Ironhide took on Devastator.

That would have been incredibly cool, Bumblebee's legs were on the floor in the background, so i'm sure he could have fused them back together.

Well, if he does have more weapons in his arsenal for healing, I hope to see them in the sequel.

^I'm sure he does, he is an ambulance after all, there will be things inside of him he can use and hopefully we get to see him use them in a sequel.

^Well there are plenty of others Autobots to do the fighting for him, at least one more will be introduced in the sequel.

Yeah, I know he won't be fighting much, which is why I said he'll probably be doing a lot of healing in the sequel.

I could've sworn I saw Ratchet drive down the road where I work. Can you imagine the sight of me stopping what I'm doing to look at a damn truck?

Ah, Ratchet, he was always my favourite G1 Autobot: apart from Optimus, he was most dedicated to saving life. He really came across as the real second-in-command in the movie too. I loved his moustache and Robert Foxworth's voiceover.

I really hope we get to see a lot more of Ratchet. If he's not fighting, I at least want to see him healing the wounded Autobots.

We are bound to see more of him, he actually has a bigger part in the movie than i originally thought, and thats a cool pic above of him smacking Starscream, hope we see that some time in the movies.

^Yeah, would love to see that on film someday, although in that pic they are the same size? In the movie and cartoon they werent. Infact in the animated movie Megatron and Starscream killed both Ratchet and Ironhide pretty easily.

Scale has always been a clumsy issue in Transformers media, the Decepticons in particular with their choices of guns or jets. Until the movie of course.

If you want to know more, in this story Ratchet crashed the Ark with him, Megatron and Starscream aboard. Megatron survived, but Ratchet died and Starscream was resurrected by his commander, leading onto the Generation 2 comics.

Scale has always been a clumsy issue in Transformers media, the Decepticons in particular with their choices of guns or jets. Until the movie of course.

Yeah, just seeing floor Starscream once would be awesome, of course Starscream would probably get up and batter him afterwards, but it would still be worth it .

Never knew Shockwave defeated both Megatron AND Optimus, he never came accross as tha powerful to me, jesus.

Hope they introduce him in the movies.
