My only complaint about the trailer and its a minor one, is that I wish they would have stuck with Hans Zimmer ''Time'' score.

Watch the trailers of the other films and most of them used an upbeat music especially at the end and it made the trailer more exciting.

The trailers for X2/X3 had a slow music background at the beginning then during the last few seconds of the trailer, boom! they changed the music to something upbeat when they showed a couple of action scenes. And of course there was a cool title card at the end.

If you're completely fine with the music, then good for you. But in my opinion the music they used for the trailer isn't helping that much to make the film to look more exciting.

I think when the SFX for the action set pieces are done we'll get more upbeat/action-packed trailers.

But that probably won't be until the superbowl.

The final trailer will be closer to the release date.

Probably in April featured with Cap 2.

I mostly liked the trailer but I thought the future scenes were too clean and neat.

It didn't seem like the end of civilization with everyone looking styled with perfect hair and flawless X-men uniforms.

I hope the dystopia is fully realized.

I will say the 70's looked believable and Warpath's face paint was pretty bad ass.

Just had another watch, loved it. the tone was so bleak and desperate.

Actually they don't look clean and neat at all. And their uniforms look worn-out. What I dislike about some of the future scenes is the orange/yellow hue which is very prominent in the temple setting. I hope they fix that.

Iceman, Kitty, Wolverine etc all looked rough enough for me. I thought the suits were bleak enough and that they didn't look overly groomed.

Admittedly the new mutants might have looked a little too bright, but I thought the X-Men looked like they should. Plus it could be we're seeing them before or a few days after battle scenes so they've had a chance to clean up a little. If they don't look really rough during and after a battle then I'll be all :wow:

I wonder why such a big contrast between the dark and bleaker looking X-Men and the new mutants looking like they've come from a carnival.

Eh I gave it a 6, but I'm a harsh grader. It was so much better with the comic con music, changed the whole tone of it. Still, not bad. I did like that it had a sense of restraint; it just didn't pack the emotional punch I was expecting.

Nothing too exciting in this one. I like the "a different path, a darker path" and the "please, we need you to hope again."

It's pretty clear that Charles and Erik will be the highlight of this film like First Class. So then it baffles me why Logan must be the hero yet again. -_-

The full trailer for X2 came out In february 2003 In front of Daredevil.

The officially released teaser for X2 came out In December 2002.

The fact here In late October they releasing teaser Online tells me they want
to get the full trailer out In february.waiting till april only gives them 7 weeks
before film comes out. That's cutting it close with full trailer.

The teaser for X2 was so good.

The next DOFP trailer will be out long before April. They need to build buzz.

But the first full trailer probably won't be the final trailer.

Superhero movies these days get 3 or 4 trailers.

Wolverine has always been the biggest draw.

I'd say mostly due to Hugh Jackmen's charisma. Plus his shirtless scenes probably puts a few women in seats.

That has lost some appeal for me as a woman. I've seen Wolverine/Hugh with his top off so many times now it's not that exciting anymore.

I give it an 8. It was good for a teaser. I look forward to the next one where they show more of the story and Sentinels.

As a man, I don't care if his shirt is on or off. But I do care about him stabbing some guy in the neck.

    stabbing+necks = appeal!

I like the fact that this is pretty much the Comic Con trailer. Normally first trailers are also typical movie introduction type thing. So expect the next one to be the action one. I expect a Superbowl Spot would also be in order for this movie

I've seen everything so many times with Wolverine.

    Top off = 'oh okay'

Stabbing someone with his claws = 'oh okay'

Him being in every movie = 'oh okay'

    Him yelling = 'oh okay'

That's the level I am on with Wolverine after 13 years and 7 movies.
