How did you like the first trailer? Did it meet your expectations?

Did not like it ONE bit. Nothing on story, Raccoons animation not groundbreaking and too much emphasis on comedy and forced laughs. Haha I hated it unfortunately.

Smart move to introduce the characters to the audience like that. Also, "Hooked On A Feeling" by Blue Swede, great choice for a song! Can August get here already?

Like how it showed the tone Gunn was going for and introduced all the characters, especially with how Hooked on a Feeling is used. The part where Korath doesn't know who Star-Lord is even is perfect since it fits how the audience is going into GOTG as well. For me, teaser trailers for the first film in a possible series don't need to show as much.

Loved it. I've been on the fence about this movie from day one, but that trailer really sold me on it. Looks like it could be a star-making role for Pratt and the rest of it looks pretty awesome too.

Yeah I liked it. It's the first trailer and served as a literal introduction. We'll get more action with later trailers.

I gave it an 8 on sheer trailer quality, while I'd probably give it a 9 on how much I enjoyed it overall. Loved the tone, loved the color palette (shockingly), and I LOVED the file reading's of each member.

The entire main cast's "looks" impressed me a lot more in the full trailer than in the 15 sec teaser and those stills.

I give it an 8.5 (I'll just round it to an 8). It was awesome but I do agree with some that the pacing was off, but just slightly, nothing that would deter from the awesome visuals and quirky tone.

Whoa! THIS. WAS. AWESOME!!!

It might very well be the next worthwhile (to me) Marvel Studios flick after Jon Favreau's first Iron Man and Shane Black's Iron Man 3! I hope Marvel won't mess with James Gunn's vision!

Considering it's backed by an actual budget and not a fun thing they did over a weekend it's not much of a surprise.

Um...meh? I'm no more interested in the movie now than I was before I saw the trailer, although I'm not really sure what I was expecting. May be the first Marvel movie to actually bomb is the feeling I get. The movie doesn't even like itself from the looks of it. But we'll see. Nice Brainiac symbols though.

I gave this a five. I just didn't really like it and the comedic vibe of it. I'm also not really feeling Chris Pratt as the lead star.

And before anyone respond to my "predictable" comment about GOTG. I gave DOFP's trailer a six.

Pretty much an extended SDCC footage, but with polished special effects. I was really hoping to hear Rocket and/or Groot speak, but oh well, maybe next time. 9/10.

It is the teaser trailer after all, they're supposed to give away too much.

I've been looking forward to this movie, yet I've been on the fence about how this movie was going to turn out. James Gunn is definitely a mixed bag for me, as I've loved some of his work, but also HATED some of his work.

This trailer kinda sold it for me. I'm pretty excited for this now. The movie looks like it's going to be a whole lotta fun, and I hope this will be the surprise hit of the Summer.

Bits and pieces look awesome, and it was smart to introduce the characters like that, but overall it seems a little....flat?

The dialogue, actors, etc, didn't have as much 'punch' as I'd expect.

I also got a little bit of a space-channel vibe from the set design.
