RUSH HOUR director BRETT RATNER is set to revisit Rat Pack classic OCEAN'S ELEVEN - with EDDIE MURPHY, CHRIS TUCKER and CHRIS ROCK fronting an all-black cast.

Unlike the original and George Clooney and Brad Pitt's remake, which focused on a group of crack thieves in Las Vegas, Ratner's version will follow the fortunes of a group of scheming janitors working at the Trump Tower in New York City.

Ratner tells [COLOR=blue ! important][COLOR=blue ! important]movie[/COLOR][/COLOR] website Moviehole.net, "Eddie Murphy came to me with this idea to do a movie with all the [COLOR=blue ! important][COLOR=blue ! important]comedians[/COLOR][/COLOR], with Chris Tucker - like this is his dream team - we haven't gotten these actors yet, but Chris Tucker, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Jamie Foxx in one movie.

"They all work in the Trump Towers, blue collar workers and one's a door man and one's a security guard and one's a janitor. And they rip off the Trump Tower."

It might of been cool had they got someone talented like Spike Lee or some other talented black director to do it... Ocean 11 was cool(at least the remake) due to it's style, Ratner has no style, he's a gun for hire...

I agree I loved Ocean's eleven it was great IMO. I'm looking forward to this sounds like a pretty cool idea IMO.

I find Jason Lee funnier than most of the people on that list, but I wanted to throw the popular comedians a bone. :P Jason Lee is hilarious because of how he talks. His style of delivery is great. I have no tolerance for how his character in "My Name is Earl" isn't even allowed to talk in traditional Lee-style, though. That makes the show boring.

But the only thing that really ties the actors in this black ocean's 11 remake is that they're black. They all have their own styles. Its just going end up turning into a battle over who gets more screen time, lines, etc. If this movie gets made egos will clash.

Same could've been said of the actual Ocean's 11 remake, starring heavy-hitters like Clooney and Pitt and Damon in one movie, and yet they didn't end up brawling.
