Justice League Ray Fisher Is Victor Stone/Cyborg

WB and BTS drama, what a dynamic duo for the past decade. :funny:

AT&T is surely appreciating the billions they spent in adopting this mess.

I don't know about Henry, but at this point Gal and Ben have to speak out as well. If they do, WB is toast. So just do that cause frankly and no offense to anyone, I'm tired of being bombarded with this. Take every precaution necessary to make sure the investigation is conducted properly to expose what really happened so everyone can move on with their lives. The cast and crew deserve that and so do the fans.
WB will be fine. If a ton of sexual assault accusations from numerous men and women hasn't killed a single major studio some accusations of racism isn't doing to do it.

Do we even know the specifics or have any evidence of an actual crime?

Fisher accused them of downplaying/covering up reports about mistreatment on the set of the JL reshoots and then threatening his career when he said something to Geoff Johns about it.

Momoa does not strike me as being thin skinned and he had enough experience in the game when shooting JL to know what when something untoward was happening. People can't go after him like they did with Fisher. This feels like a turning point.

frosty news being bs that wb came up with just lends more credence to fisher's accusations.

it smells of reactionary and panicking on wb's part.

like when someone's been caught in a lie, and makes up another lie on the spot in a weak attempt to cover their tracks.

So this is what we have so far: After the accusations are first made, Berg denies them by claiming that Fisher simply didn't want to say Cyborg's catchphrase. Then Hamada tries to "throw people under the bus" to protect his friend. Then they supposedly hire a phony investigator. Then they release a statement trying to discredit Fisher that he hasn't cooperated and hasn't even talked to the investigator. Then apparently they publicly lied about Momoa voicing a character in a movie that doesn't seem to even exist... What in the world happened during those reshoots that they would go to these lengths to cover it up? Can't just be someone dismissing Fisher and the cast and telling them: "Guys, just shut the hell up and do your job". This has to go so far beyond that.

Eh, I can't blame Momoa for being pissed. WB basically used him and his name to release some bs news about a flick without asking him to screw over one of his friend/costar. If Gal and or Ben also speak out, some heads will role at WB imo. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if some heads are already lined up at the guillotine.

that's what's so intriguing about this.
like how bad was it?
per momoa's post, it sounds like what went down during those reshoots was really bad tho.
was it to the level of criminal behavior tho??

I just hope the story about how Whedon treated Gal isn't true. But at this point I honestly can't be sure what to believe.

Seems like there was a TON of pressure to finish JL, not to mention Whedon got rid of most of Snyder's key crew etc, which again didn't sit well with the cast. Twight ( who got everyone in shape) was like their mentor, and he wasn't allowed on set.

From everything I've gathered:

There's been stuff about Joss being kind of a *****e for years but in the right eco system he can be managed. Disney/Marvel run a tight ship and they had 0 issues up until maybe age of Ultron where you can look into things on both sides but that was a different MS

Ultimately I blame WB for whatever transpired on JL period.

Whatever happened they were not running a tight ship at the time especially under what's his face that refused to change justice league date so they could get their bonuses.

I bet that set was a toxic mess with a bunch of people fearing for their jobs and reshooting a ton of footage under the gun.

There's still shades of that WB I guess that frosty stuff is so bizzare

This is the type of **** that could only happen to WB. Can’t get anything right.

If that thing is true and Gal speaks out, bald Whedon will have an early retirement. He'd still sleep with his blanket that says ''feminist'' on it tho. Heh. We shall wait.

Also, @DS80 told us this was just the iceberg. Breh said more heavyweights would chime in and one already has. Damn, what if all 7 unite not take down Darkseid, but WB suits instead?

Hope so, cause I'm still waiting for the 7th one. :hehe:

Also, going by his past comments, it seems like Cavill really got along with Whedon, so butterball is out. Can't trust him. He sure kissed the ring once the SC was announced tho.

:o

I don't trust the bald man.

One thing to take into account is Momoa's personality. The dude is practically a man's man. Type of man who would take a couple of your best punches to the face and smile, just to show you it doesn't make a dent. For him to say ''Serious stuff went down'' is not something I take lightly.

i feel henry's always been playing both sides - but lot of it gotta do with wb's competing narratives against snyder's and also against fandom's about the superman role.

Ben and Gal can speak out if they want. But they are not obligated to.

I'm thinking Whedon had them working brutal hours, wasn't taking their suggestions or input about the reshoots, and was generally being a *****e about throwing Snyder's ideas out, and like you said he fired the key cew.

I'm sure that could cause the sort of tension and resentment we're seeing. I wouldnt even be surprised if there were some fights during restoots.
