Re-Casting...Frank Castle/The Punisher

Ha...Sawyer. Would love to see him as Jigsaw. Cant tell me the audience wouldnt be taken aback by that face getting shredded by a plate glass window.

Part of me wants then to do a "Hulk" with the Punisher, keep some LOOSE elements from the first film...if need be, but pretty much scrap everything else. I'm going to have to go with the Bruce Willis idea, if you want him with more hair, pull a Nick Cage in Ghost Rider and give him some, but I can totally see Willis playing Castle...as a hard boiled, tough as nails Punisher. He pulled John Hartigan off to a T so I'm sure he could do Frank.

Ive asked this before. what about Chuck Zito? He's a champion kickboxer too and since the new director is a champion kickboxer they might work together well.

Viggo Mortensen would be an excellent choice still would prefer TJ over him or anyone for that matter would even love to see Gerald Butler but something tells me he would cost quite a bit of money since 300 was a hit don't know if they would be able to afford him? a fav of mine would be Dougray Scott he was almost wolverine but lost out to Hugh jackman and he has the look

I would love to see Gerard Butler play Castle! It seems reasonable he'd do it, being that he's been cast as Snake Plisskin in the remake of Escape from New York. I wonder if Butler could completely hide his accent, though. But I would definitely love to see him as Castle!

I miss Tom Jane, but he'll never come back now. After watching the pretender season4 I wouldn't mind seeing the actor who played Jarod play the punisher. He can do the deep voice pretty well, and he can look pretty threating at times.
