I've been coloring my latest Comic Book issue with GIMP,but my printer (Ka-blam)wants the pages uploaded with these requirements:
Full Bleed Size (the size you want to send the pages at): 7 inches wide x 10.5 inches high
Final Trimmed Size: 6.625 x 10.25
Make your live Area: 6 x 9

I've downloaded their template as well, but I have no idea how to use it.
Any Comic publishers out there, who can give me a step by step guide on how to accomplish this?I'd be eternally grateful.:woot:

I am not an artist but I use GIMP occasionally.

Say you want the page to be 7 inches X 10.5 inches, why not open a blank template page and change the ruler setting to inches, then Image drop down menu > Canvas size - set the height and width in inches. then press keys Alt + return to view image properties.

Note dimensions of pixels.

Then open your comic artwork page > go to scale image - specify height and width in pixels and resize the page.

Hope it helps.
