nah actually my job encourages/forces me to read certain books.

**** no lol. I cant read or write it, Just know how to say and understand a few dozen words and phrases. also how to decipher the meaning of some words I dont know (arabic is structured around root letters, most words with the same root letters have a similar meaning)

I wholeheartedly agree about that. I'm so sick of hearing about Lohan, Hilton, and Spears that I could puke. In a society where it seems we worship bimbos, its no wonder our country is in the state it is.

But seriously. I average at least a book every two weeks (disappointing, I know--but that's due to SHH!). Currently rereading Fahrenheit 451.

I read about 50 books (not including comics) in one year quite a while back. It's been decreasing, but I try to a keep it consistent. Gotta keep readin'!

At every opportunity we should castigate those involved in such meaningless folly. We need to reaffirm that humans can be noble... that we ARE noble and that we should only pursue such goals and interests that are in keeping with that. Otherwise we are screwed.
