Sequels Reboot.

Here was my idea for a reboot:

It would keep in line a bit with the previous movies. Like how in X-Men 1 it said that Storm was one of the first, she would be in my origi-five.

My origi-five X-Men would be Cyclops, Jean, Storm, Beast, and Morph. (More on Morph later).

At this point Magneto would be AT the school still with the Brotherhood, they would leave about halfway-ish through and would have a big fight at the end. The Brotherhood would have Toad, Mystique, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch.

X-Men would go to where Sentinels are being produced, meet Brotherhood, they were also there to shut down plant (they heard about it before they left Xavier). Big fight ensues, Toad vs. Beast, Jean vs. Scarlet, Morph vs. Mystique, Storm vs. Quicksilver, Cyke vs. Mags. Wouldn't be a clear cut victory on either side, about even.

Small fight with Sentinels during which Morph would get "killed"

End movie 1.

I have a few ideas in my head about the sequels to that, the only concrete one would be they mourn Morph and add Thunderbird, Morph comes back MAD to kill X-Men and manages to kill Thunderbird before getting killed himself. Death of T-Bird has Cyclops turn into harder, more bada$$ Cyke.

Banshee might work better. Not sure about Mystique either. In human form in X3, she was young, and would be the same sort of age as Storm and Jean. Would it work to have a young Mystique at the mansion - she strikes me as someone who's lived a shady, lonely, bitter life away from anyone until Magneto somehow encounted her.

There are other baddies you could include - Vanisher, Unus, Astra.

And what about Jason Stryker being there as Mastermind - in X2 we found out he did go to the school.

Wanting a reboot with only 3 films, and the possibilities of more sequels with the good actors that we already have, is like wanting Spiderman franchise do a reboot too, without Tobey, or a new Pirates reboot, without Johnny Deep.

X4 should be made. Then they can stop, because 4 films would be enough to most of us (although more would be great, but we can live with 4 x-men films), and wait a few years and make the reboot. But now? really don't see it.

It in no way needs to be now.. but eventually I want a reboot. I'm tired of this version of the X-men. I want something new and better.

If X4 is as bad as X3, then yes, they will have lost two opportunities, so if they aren't abble to do the x-men justice, stop it, and give them to other studio, for a new franchise, a reboot, with a better team.

Time for X-Men movies actually based on the comics. I'd love to see a series done like Spider-man, looking like the comics and not being afraid to just be what it is...a comic book movie.

Singer stinks, he doesn't care about fans or books, well these characters were popular for a long time before him and I didn't need his two cents on them.

Hopefully all of Fox's Marvel properties go into development hell, and all rights go back to Marvel. Then let the reboot begin.
My idea would be Four Movies. One of the four would be a prequel.

He lets out a giant EMP, that disables an entire village. Magda scared to find out her husband is a Mutant flees. He seeks out Charles his friend from the War to help him find who murder his daughter. We then get Mags and Charles building the first Cerebro. They find out it has done by a group of former Nazi's that were out to keep their vision alive of the future. They are run by Baron Von Strucker. They battle Von Strucker, and the end Charles convinces Erik to let him Live. Von Strucker leaves. Erik and Charles find a large storage of Gold bars. Erik takes them without Charles Knowing. Charles would ask erik if he wanted to join him on building a school for young Mutants, Erik declines because of the differences of their views. The movie would end with Erik calling Charles his brother.

X-men - The motion Picture. Would be the first class Charles puts together. It would feature Scott Summers(Cyclops, 19yrs), Warren Worthington III(Angel, 19yrs), Hank McCoy(Beast, 21yrs), Bobby Drake(Iceman, 18yrs) and Charles first student Jean Grey(Marvel Girl, 19yrs). The movie would show of the staff of Tessa (Sage, around 29ish), Forge(about 35ish), and Ororo Munroe (Storm, 25/26yrs), as well as Moira McTaggart (40ish) and Sean Cassidy (Banshee, 40ish) with their daughter Teressa (Siren, 13yrs) and Moira's assistant Rahne Sinclair (Wolfsbane, 21yrs). This movie would deal with the Mutant Massacre and a series of Mutant deaths around the states. The Government gives reports how their investigating. At this point Erik returns now know as Magneto with Disgust on how poorly the Government is investigating, and how slow they are and that he feels no mutant is safe. He then warns that if another mutant dies, he will bring his wrath on the US. A mutant dies, Mags now wants a Safe Haven. He targets a island that the US has a base on, saying it would be perfect to be the new world on which a Mutant Community can be built on. The UN declines so Mags goes into action, his Brotherhood(Toad, Blob, Scarlett Witch, Quicksilver, Mastermind) attacks the base and takes over, which holds Nuclear Devices and holds the US hostage. X-men go to stop Mags. Fight ensues. But before the X-men can win, the UN gives in making the Island a new Sovereign Land and thus Making Magneto the President over it, which he names Genosha. The movie ends with a quick Shot of Neverland, where Mutants are captured, and the name Essex is droped.


The next Two sequels would deal with who was behind the Massacre, and the construction of the Sentinels. Sinister would be the Badguy at the end.

The three movies would have have Angel, Cyclops and Jean in a love Triangle, Storm and Forge in a relationship. Mags should discover that two members of his brotherhood are his children. The third would have Sinister defeated but Apoc would be set-up as a possible sequel.

The early years of the X-men and the O5 team got their book canceled. It would be a bad idea to repeat that mistake.

I say they should do three more sequels: Sentinels (4), Sinister & Legacy Virus (5), and Apocalypse (6). They could restart 10 years or so after that. I'll still be a fan.

If they do a reboot, I'd like to see the origin of the original X-Men team: Cyclops, Ms. Marvel, Beast (not blue, just big hands & feet), Iceman (I guess in snowman form is debatable), Angel, & Professor X. (I think I got everyone, please correct me if I'm wrong).Then if it's successful, added Wolverine in a sequel, played by someone other than Hugh Jackman. Not that Hugh Jackman did a bad job, but it'd be interesting to see how another actor would handle the role.

I agree with pjspider1C, I also want to see the original five X-men if they ever do a reboot. It would be awesome to have an origin story for the originals.

I'd like a reboot but I don't want an origin story. I was fine how they handled the origin in the first movie. A montage of the X-Students and Prof X narrating. I honestly think origins that take long make the story kind of boring.

So right. We can't just keep 'rebooting' something as soon as it doesn't go exactly right. We've already got people wanting Ghost Rider reboots, FF reboots, and so on.

We just need to move forward and get the right people in to do the job. In the X-Men's case, we can't KEEP all the characters and then add others in. It just wouldn't work.

Wiping the slate cleans only opens the door for more foul ups. And don't get me started on the whole Original Five and Origins thing... We've seen Cyke, Jean, Bobby, Hank, and Warren on screen already. We don't need to to do it all over again. Get over it.
