Recasting Elektra

Who would you recast as Elektra. Jennifer Garner was good but she might not take the role again.

What no Angelina Jolie option?

I kinda like Julia Anderson. Sure she's an out-of-left-field pick but she's a decent actress with the right age; actually could pass for being Greek (unlike Garner); and has dance and martial arts skills so she wouldn't look out of place with the combat scenes. Oh yeah and she could actually fill Elektra's outfit too.

She certainly looks the part and seems to be able to handle the action. I just dont know about her acting since I havent seen her in anything (except Reaper that didnt really show anything)

Plays a lot of tough chicks. Military type on Heroes, Special Agent on The Unit, vampire in Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice, and roles in The Spirit and Quantum of Solace who I dont know specifics but usually have pretty tough chicks in them. Shes technically Croatian but could pass for Greek (both are Mediaterranian [sp?]). Shes not the most curvaceous though

I actually liked Jen, but she isnt the ''real'' elektra to me. Elektra needs someone with that kind of greek/middle eastern(elektra always looked like a kind of middle eastern girl to me) look to her. Someone like Roselyn(posted above) can work well.

I want her to be Catwoman in Bats 3 but I would like to see Rhona Mitra as Elektra but I don't wanna see an Elektra movie. I would like her to show up in some other Marvel movies. No knock on the character but I don't think replacing a film that didn't do well to begin with is not such a good idea.

Rhona Mitra as Elektra is good choice too she sure as hell can do action she was in Underworld:Rise Of The Lychans/Shooter/Doomsday she also is half Indian btw

Alba should stay away from comic films.

They shouldn't use Elektra in a new DD film, though. Not until he's established with one or two films unlike before.

I just watched the Reaper episode! She was great! I think she could play Wonder Woman too!

Stana is proving herself to be a very talented actress. I think she could play Elektra with the right director and costume. She's already done a film playing an assassin with a vendetta. With the same trainers she could wield the sais and katana's convincingly.
