patrick stewart, james marsdon, were good choices in original movie. as far as this, this would be the highest budget movie ever. most of these actors are so expensive you would have to make this a stage show,lol.

i like the cast, the only two i had a problem with was Rogue and Magneto inittialy when they were cast as i always felt Rogue would be older when translated from comic to film for the first time and as for Magneto someone who wasnt as old... But i can see now why they chose these people. Rogue had the best ability to show the downside to mutation, and it would right to see the first movie through her eyes. And as for Magneto you really needed someone to stand alongside Professor Xavier... as Patrick Stewart is someone respectable you need someone of same status to play magneto and thats why Sir Ian McKellan was chosen, that and he is a gay and thus able to relate to the persecution of being different.
