Do you have a recipe that you created yourself through trial and error?

Most of the cooking styles I learned, I learned by just trying. And all of my personal dishes I created myself. So what do you cook?

Beer.

I tried it once for breakfast at a friends house....couldn't find the milk and there was still booze from last night so I said: "Meh, What the heck"

I puked at the second spoon:down

I wonder if you puked from the taste or from your hangover?

Toasted cheese sandwich with meatsauce.

Toast two pieces of bread. Put cheese on one slice, then cover with meatsauce. Microwave on high for 20-40 seconds. Enjoy. :)

Go get some tomatoes, eggplants and zucchinis (sp). Slice them all, grill them with olive oil and oregano. Make some beef bolognaise and display in an oven dish in layers (1st veggies, then meat, then veggies) sprinkle with grated cheese and take in the oven to gratinate. d-lish.

that's what you get for asking a cook.

Chicken in Mushroom sauce for 2

Ingredients:
2 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
2 Potatoes - quartered
2 Carrots - chopped into wide "coins"
1 Can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
Parsley
Sage
Rosemary
Thyme
Salt/Pepper

Preheat oven to 350
Get a small roasting pan
Sprinkle the Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme over the bottom of the pan
Place the Chicken on top of the spices
Sprinkle salt and/or pepper over the chicken
Place potatoes and carrots in remaining space around chicken
Put cover on pan
Place in oven for 10 minutes
Flip over the items in the pot and recover
Put back in oven for another 10 minutes
Open cream of mushroom soup, add it to the pot, flip over the items in the pot and swish/swirl/mix the mushroom soup around so it's spread over everything.
Place back in oven uncovered for another 15 to 20 minutes (until potatoes & carrots are soft and chicken is white all the way through)

I have a similar recipe...

But you mix in a bowl a can of cream of mushroom soup, half a can (use the can from the soup) of cream, sliced mushrooms & 2 heaping tablespoons of oregano. Cut the chicken breast into cubes, cook in a pan, then pour the cream sauce mix with the chicken. On the side, boil and mash potatoes (use milk and/or butter to make potatoes creamier. Pour chicken sauce onto potatoes.

Yummm...

Hulk casserole:

1 box mac n' cheese, 1 can of canned chicken, 1 cup of green peas.....

mix it all up, enjoy the tastyness....

Scrambled Eggs

Search fridge for some sort of meat, sandwhich meat, hot dogs, sausage, bacon, whatever... slice up into small bits and toss in pan and add a little oil/butter/margarine. Turn stove top on medium.

Chop one onion really fine, toss in pan with meat.

Chop up one clove of garlic really fine, toss in pan, stir everything that's in there so far.

Get a package of fresh mushrooms and slice them and add them to the stuff in the pan. If you only have canned mushrooms, use those. Do NOT use Cream of Mushroom soup.

Get out some cheese and slice it up into small bits, don't do anything with it yet, but keep it handy.

Get out your eggs and put them in a mixing bowl, add a little milk and parsley. Stir it up with a fork / mixer and then add to the stuff in the pan.

You may want to get someone to start making toast at this point.

At this point the stuff in the pan will need almost constant stirring (unless you want to make a quiche). Once it looks fairly well cooked add the cheese and mix it in. Once it's melted, serve.

the term 'created' has me edgy because it's probably going to be an improvisation that billions have people have done in a similar situation...

I can't cook a thing myself. My mum is great at all that stuff though, there are a whole ton of recipes she made herself.

I love to cook, making green tea ice cream this weekend and guiness ice cream once I get the hang of using this machine

I add a few things here and there, but I don't get too crazy I'd hate to ruin a meal. I have a thing for saffron in pasta sauce, damn good stuff

Where's Maxwell Smart he's going to culinary school
