Okay, so check it out.

I've got this really boring ass desk job doing some really boring ish.

The cool thing is, I get paid for it. PLUS I get to listen to music all day long! And, being that as it may, I'm always on the lookout for new music.

With that in mind, I want you, the classy citizens of Hype Land, to recommend me some albums to listen to while I am working for the man. And if I decide to check out a recommended album, I will come back the next day to review it.

But I do have some restrictions:
- No hardcore death metal nonsense. That's for the birds.
- No country, unless the singer is really really hot. Because the attractiveness of the artist actually does make a difference.
- No Nickelback
- No house/techno babble that don't got no words

So yeah. Go. :)

I'm going to reccomend some Slayer, some Hank Williams Sr., Nickelbacks debut album, and The Crystal Method :o

Seriously though...NIN's new album, The Slip, is pretty good...and it's free, can't go wrong wtih that. As far as hotty country singers go, Michelle Branchs group, The Wreckers are actually pretty damn good.

the Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
the Beach Boys - Endless Summer
Jawbreaker - Unfun
Jawbreaker - Dear You

all 4 of these albums are flawless.

Age of Nemesis - Terra Incognita (get the Hungarian version - it's better :cwink:)

Floating into the Night by Julee Cruise
The Voice of Love by Julee Cruise

Graduation-Kanye West
Hot Fuss-The Killers

Been there. Done that. :p (a pair of good ones, though)

I'm taking a look at The Slip and Pet Sounds. The latter is a universal "classic", so I'm looking forward to that.

Relaxing
Golfrapp - Seventh Tree

Up Tempo
The Hoosiers - Trick To Life

A Good Mix
KT Tustall - Drastic Fantastic

All of those are fairly decent work music, so I would recommend any of them.

Try out the new Boggs album, I quite like it. :yay:

Anthology - The Blues Project
Bringing It All Back Home - Bob Dylan
Face to Face, The Village Green Preservation Society - The Kinks
There Are But Four Small Faces - The Small Faces
A Nod Is As Good As A Wink To A Blind Horse - The Faces
Beggar's Banquet - The Rolling Stones
yankee hotel foxtrot, Summerteeth - Wilco

Among many others that aren't coming to mind. If you like these, just ask for more.:boba:

Here is what I'm checking out currently.

Prince - The Very Best of Prince
Three Days Grace - OneX
Jamiroquai - High Times (Singles 1992-2006)

Of course, you know who Jamiroquai is, and if you don't, check that s*** out. :o
