I've been on a major horror kick lately, I just watched Mulberry Street and Feast last night, and I've began to realise there's a probably a ton more of these kick-ass movies that I know little, or nothing, about.

So can you guys recommend me any cool movies from these genres? Preferrably ones like Feast... y'know, bunch of people stuck in a location and monsters attack.

I'm looking for modernish movies... earliest being say, the early 1990's

ok, well that it's, haha... hope you guys can help, thanks.

The Relic was pretty good, book was better of course but I still enjoyed the film.

There are a lot of horror films I know of and own but I'm at work and don't have the time to think of them all. I'm sure others will give you some good ones by the time I get home.

The one in the museum? Yeah, haha, that was pretty fun.

Own it! awesome movie.

Then you should just watch that over and over again to get your monster fix. :o

I just found a movie called Stag Night, that could be the one for tonight's viewing.

Well. If you want to extend your limit into the mid-80's. There's a few good ones that I can think of. Prince of Darkness (the monster being homeless people) and Leviathan (with Peter Weller).

The Thing original and remake
American Werewolf in London
Evil Dead trilogy
Alien franchise
Predator
The Blob original and remake
The Fly original and remake

Hrmmm.....some of these might be 80s movies, I forgot when a few were released:

- Anaconda (skip the sequels)
- Arachnophobia
- 28 Days/Weeks Later
- Brotherhood of the Wolf
- Darkness Falls
- Death Machine
- Deep Blue Sea (worth watching for SLJ's death scene alone)
- Deep Rising
- Mimic (skip the sequels, I saw them all, they were all terrible)
- Pitch Black
- Reign of Fire
- Screamers
- Silent Hill
- Slither
- Species
- Sunshine (not really "horror/monster" type but still sci-fi)
- Trick 'r Treat (haven't seen but I've heard it's good)
- The Arrival
- The Descent
- The Fly 2 (decent)
- The Hills Have Eyes II (not very good but it's entertainment at least)
- The Mist
- The Ruins (not very good but kinda creepy and the South American setting is cool - even if you don't see much of the jungle)

Wishmaster
From Dusk Till Dawn
Wolfman(1941)
Dead End
Childs Play
Re-Animator
Hatchet
Misery
