I was just wondering from everyone, if there is one thing or a couple of things that you could take back in your life what would they be?

Mine...getting married...I would never have gotten married....at least not to my ex-wife.

As much as I fully appreciate it, I think I'd take back going to college. After I graduated I've had nothing but problems from credit card bills to student loans.

Seriously though, I don't do regrets. Sure, I've cocked up in the past, but it's lead me to be the person I am, and I like where I am. So no. Everthing's eventual.

Breaking up with my ex. (twice. I regret it but it was probably necessary.)

Not backing up any talent I had with work-ethic as a kid.

Splitting my band up.

Punching some kid's lights out for next to nothing when I was 15. I'm nearly 27 now & that one still hurts.

The way I treated two ladies in the past was somewhat unecessary.

I should have also had the guts to not freeze up around one for about 4 years and act on instinct (shame i was lacking in experience back then, i'd destroy her today).

but i feel they've all attributed in making me a (arguably) better man so I deal with it by having three current parallel universes where those three situations all worked out for the best (it's more like two or even one these days).

I wish i made slightly more out of my PhD as well but again, it's something i can live with.
