Not sure if there's been a thread made for it, but I couldn't find one when I searched for it, so sue me if I couldn't find it.

Former college roomates Charlie Fineman and Alan Johnson meet up again by chance on a Manhattan street corner. Five years after losing his family on 9/11, Charlie--once a successful dentist--has retreated from his life, and Alan is stunned to see the changes in his formerly gregarious friend. At the same time, Alan--who should be enjoying his beautiful wife, children and career--is overwhelmed by his responsibilities. Their rekindled relationship becomes a lifeline for the two men, who are both in need of a trusted friend at this pivotal moment in their lives.

Just got back from seeing it, and holy Jesus is it awesome. Adam Sandler really pulls in the acting chops here, and...hell, just about everything was great in it.

Anyone else see it? Your thoughts?

Great movie, with top notch acting. Glad to see Sandler actually act for a change. Loved this movie as well.

Just finished it...wow! Never ever would have thought Sandler would be convincing in the role but he absolutely was. His best performance to date no doubt. He totally embodied the role of Charlie. The scene between him and Cheadle, when he finally opens up abou this family and what happen almsot had me in tears. Great role for Sandler, Cheadle, Tyler are shabby either. Great film 9/10

Yep, I saw it at work.

I was surprised at how much of Shadow of the Colossus they managed to put in there. It was so ironic that I was playing through the game at the same time I saw the movie.

The more I think about this, the more I enjoy it... And it's coincidental that I'm currently on a trip to NYC for this weekend...!

It's such a powerful and endearing movie. A lot of heart to it and plenty of entertainment, too. Definitely going to be one I buy and keep coming back to often.
