Is it adding new content bc if not whats the point when you can just pop in the GC edition. For me, Wii controls isnt an incentive for rebuying the game

Its not awesome. The Wii edition of RE0, basically the same game was released only in Japan and sucked. This will do the same.

How do you know if it sucked if you havn't played it?

It is amazing how bitter you have allowed those other guys to make you Electro.

It got crappy reviews on imports. Hey don't look at me, I just know that waggeling that Wii-mote to wave a knife won't mae the game anymore awesome than it already was. Just get the GC version.

Oh and Brainiac, I still love RE4, Umbrella Chronicles, Galaxy, Brawl, and I'll get Okami and Sam and Max, so don't you worry!

I'm with Electro. Why pay 60 dollars to wave a knife when I can buy the GC version for 20? If they were smart they would do RE2make.

What happened to that plan of remaking all the old RE games for Wii with RE4 style gameplay and graphics? I was looking forward to that...

pikmin and metroid: prime are supposedly on that list.

Yeah, they're remaking the Metroid Prime games with updated controls so it plays like Corruption.

That'd be pretty sweet.

and as for REmake, that game was too dark for me. I couldn't get past the third hour of playing it.

This is stupid of Capcom. They would have made a hell of a lot more money if they revamped Resident Evil 0 and the REmake in the gameplay style of Resident Evil 4 (the Wii version is absolutely perfect), and not this Japanese-only port ****.

That'd be great. I know that RE has a hardcore fanbase that would rather stay on the original gameplay, but a remake of Resident Evil with RE4 gameplay would be beautiful.

It'd probably also take a lot of work, but they've already got the engine down, and a good deal of player models could probably be recycled from UC, so....

It really wouldn't be that hard. Capcom already has the graphical engine and style down for the Resident Evil games on the Wii, they have all of the player models from Umbrella Chronicles as you've said. But they also have the level designs as well that don't need much updating and the control scheme down to perfection from Resident Evil 4.

The only thing that would have to change is the camera system from that clunky one of the original games to that of Resident Evil 4 and 5 (like what Kojima Productions did with Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence).

There is no reason why Capcom did not just simply do a Subsistence version of Resident Evil 0 and and the Resident Evil remake. Absolutely none. And I if were Capcom, I would be downright ashamed for passing on an excuse to literally just print money with so little effort.

Screw RE0 and REmake. I want a RE2Make damnit :cmad:

How does Capcom really think this'll be successful. You can get a new copy of the Gamecube version for 20 bucks. Probably used for 10 and it'll play on the Wii. Do they think people will pay full price to swing the Wiimote as a knife? ......Then again, this is the Japanese market.

I'd like a RE2Make as well but I can understand why Capcom hasn't done such a thing yet. That would actually take work and a few resources.

A true Wii Edition for Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil on the other hand...come freaking on!!!

I just want an Umbrella Chronicles 2 that takes place during RE2 and Code Veronica.

I can understand that RE4 Wii added motion control and let Nintendo fanboys access the added PS2 content, but unfortunately it set a precedent, and publishers now think that all they have to do is take popular Gamecube games, put them on a full size DVD and in a white box, and they can sell them for $30. Come freaking on. If I want to play REmake, I can just as well fire up the Gamecube version and it'll be almost identical to this one. The only way this could be worth buying would be if the added 16:9 support, but it doesn't even look like they're going to do that. This is a new low for Wii shovelware, and that's saying something.
