was looking at my Dvd cover of the first Xmen Movie and i noticed wolverine not center stage on the Cover

feels very X men to me

and not too much like Wolverine and the X men

You mean when an X-Men poster didn't just consist of Wolverine's fist? Granted, Wolverine was front-and-center on most X-Men related merchandise even before the movies were released, but I know what you mean. You can see the increased emphasis placed on Jackman's Wolverine with each installment.

The X-Men one-sheet featuring the above pictures is still one of my favorite pieces of promotional material from all three movies. It reminds me of the comic books.

Fox are going to promote what sells... and thanks to Hugh Jackman's performance and the emphasis the movie's storyline gave him, the audiences gravitated to him - and now identify that character to the X-men world more than any other.

As an individual who does not read X-men comics, and never has... Wolverine is the most appealing character.

That's because that is the way they wrote these movies. They could have given the other x-men more character developement which would have made them relatable and appealing too.

Agreed. X3 was a chance for the other characters to shine, especially Phoenix. Everyone was anticipating the Phoenix Saga. But blinded by their man-love for Wolverine, Fox royally screwed up everything for a Wolverine friendly film :cmad:

Oh, who's there on the front?

^ even so, in the whole composition he's hardly the focus. besides, the claws were probably the easiest item to make out in that bright background so they're used as a focal point for the rest of the characters inside.

cyclops is pretty recognisable, he seems to be on the dvd covers

which is wierd given the way they treated him
