With a only a few days till the release of spiderman 3, all the fans pretty much know every aspect of the film now


but do u remember we had all those crazy ideas and theories
and when everybody was watching countless leaked trailers just to get a glimpse of venom?

so i thought it'd be fun to remember back on those times
so i'll start it off

remember when we thought bruce was mysterio

I also recall after the first teaser came out, that people said Venom was in his eye at the end when it was zooming out of his eye to the shot of him hanging upside down.

And the shot of Symbiote Spider-Man in the subway swinging towards the screen was "Venom" too lol.

How about when Harry was the Hobgoblin, or I even heard one time that Topher would be playing a Goblin

The rumors were odd before the casting reveal, I see...

I remember when the trailer clip came out where the New Goblin is descending down towards the camera that some people were convinced the rubble falling earthward with him was Venom crawling on a wall.

I remember the rumours that chameleon would be the only villian, and topher and thomas haden church would each portray him in a different form...that would have been cool actually.

I remember that, everyone was like "OMGSOZORSZZ teh venomzsSSZZ, it cant be symbiote spidey, cause the spider on his chest IS WHITEEE"

I remember when the Comic-Con footage got recorded by phone, it came online and we were all trying to see Venom in the blurry footage. we all loved the reactions of the people at Comic-Con in the footage.

I was one who really didn't like the idea of sandman being the main villian. When I read Tobery maguire's interview in Wizard for Spiderman 2, I couldn't belive he and Raimi wanted Sandman as the main villian for the third. I was like, but you need to have Harry and Venom! But ever since i heard the catsing of Thomas Haden Church and the first pic of Sandman, my mind changed. I think it was a very good choice.

originally, I thought they should have combined Venom and Harry's storylines from Spiderman TAS to make the third. Like Venom and Green Goblin 2 join forces to stop the Peter and MJ wedding. but this works out better with 3 awesome villians.

I still laugh when I remember the defeatists trying to claim that the first picture released was just "in black and white" and not actually the Black costume.

I had considered it maybe being a darker toned picture, not the Symbiote costume.

But I only thought of it like that for about 2 minutes later the night it was released lol.
