Republican Candidate Thread, Who are you Supporting?

I have a feeling that Iowa isn't going to affect very much like it did in the past. Super Tuesday is going to be what determines the candidate in my opinion.

And with Mike Huckabee now a top tier candidate, Fred Thompson and John McCain really just simply need to drop out. They're losing prominence so fast and badly that they aren't even dark horse candidates like Ron Paul. They're becoming more like Tom Tancredo and Duncan Hunter except with some recognition.

Mccain is too proud... Always. Suffers from a form of hubris. :(

McCain suffers from that he completely alienated his moderate base by going all buddy-buddy with the evangellicals who never wanted him in the first place.

I wish Paul had a chance, I really do. I want his sort of beliefs in Washington. While I may not agree on everything he preaches - I do like the idea of a man who will come into Washington and destroy a large portion of the corruption and socialist programs in place.

Paul's a dark horse in my opinion. There is absolutely no way to measure how much true support he actually does have.

Do I think he's going to get it, not at all. But I do think he has the capacity to affect the selection process.

I kinda like Huckabee.

He comes off as a nice guy, he was a rather competent governor, and he doesn't come off as a *****e like the majority of the other candidates.

Wow, Hip, it must be mirror universe day, This is the Very first time you and I have ever really agreed! I'm growing out the Goat. I agree with you. When I hear Huckabee talk, and explain himself. I actually truely get a feeling he isn't lying. He is not a politician in the same vain as Romney, Guliani, Clinton or Obama. It is difficult to describe.

My hope through all of this is that Huckabee, if elected, would chose Ron Paul as a Key Advisor or somebody in his Cabinet. I really like Pauls stance on being a Constitutionalist, we need more people like him in Washington.

Paul would never agree to that.

Huckabee is a warmonger, a liar, and not fiscally conservative. That's enough for me.

After watching this video, I will never vote for Fred Thompson.

Glad I'm not the only one who sees right through that charlatan.

'Kay....SOMEONE into Republican politics has been hittin' the chronic...

jag

Huckabee I'm surprised has the endorsements of Chuck Norris....and Ric Flair.

I like Ron Paul's stances on some issues, but I don't agree with him on others. I think in the end, Paul is just going to be a Republican version of Howard Dean.

McCain is my state's senator, but that's not getting my vote. I strongly disagree with him on immigration.

Romney, like his fellow Massachusetts politician, is a flip flopper.

Man, both Republican and Democrat candidates suck!!!

I say Arnold Schwarzenneger if he was allowed to run is more electable than any Republican or Democrat candidate put together.
