Apparently Bill Condon wants him for the role. Honestly, Mike Epps looks more like him, because frankly...Eddie's tone is a mite too dark for that, unless they pull a Tropic Thunder and lighten his ass up.

There's no doubt Eddie can get the impersonation spot on, but he doesn't really look like Pryor.

Leonardo DiCaprio did a great job as Howard Hughes, and Ben Affleck as George Reeves. I don't think looks are that big a deal. Besides, anything to see Eddie be something close to edgy again.

True, true. I just would love to see this be a vehicle for Mike Epps. It would be interesting seeing Mike Epps in a serious role, yet stay true to Epps' stand-up roots.

I'm actually in agreement that Epps is better for the part, but I wouldn't mind seeing Murphy in the role, either. Ideally, I'd like to see this go to Epps, and BHC IV be a success for Murphy.

Yeah, makeup could pull this off fairly easily. I think more importantly, it would get Eddie Murphy back to doing R-rated comedy, something we havent really seen from black comedies in years(outside of Soul Men).

Other then Dreamgirls and the Shrek movies, Eddie Murphy needs a good movie. Hopefully this is it.
