Just wondered if I missed him in anything, I still don't like the idea of him knowing who Batman is.

I'd be fine with the old cliche of him getting bonked on the head or something and he loses his knowledge of Bruce's secret.:)

He got his ass kicked by Poison Ivy in War Games, then turned into a flaming metrosexual.

If Metros can flame, that is.

So, he hasn't been good since Hush.

I disagree, check out Batman #452-454, "Dark Knight, Dark City". The Riddler reaches Joker-level sadism and insanity.

I am trying to forget hush returns and Fledermaus I might track those issues down.

I've got Dark Knight Dark City somewhere, haven't read it in a long time but I think I will now.

Funny you mention that, I've been meaning to get those issues. :)

In Dini's next issue of Detective Comics, a newly reformed Riddler makes an appearence. So, it will be interesting how that turns out.

It will turn out to be the best Riddler since Hush, I guarantee it.

He pretty much came back and owned Batman like he hasn't been owned in a long time.
But yeah, he did it in a metrosexual style.

Huh, should have known a thread like this would have gotten you out of hiding. :o

Actually, I thought that with a few changes--like adding some question marks on the suit, put a fedora on his head, and get rid of the goddamn lipstick--it wouldn't be that bad. :)

Clear something up for me real quick. They completely screwed up Alan Moore's origin right? I dislike it so much that I really don't want to go back and find out myself.

I'd assume he's talking about the Riddler. Not sure. The last origin I know of was by Chuck Dixon in Detective Comics Annual 8.

He's talking about the Joker, I think. I've heard Hush Returns messes up The Killing Joke somehow.

The only origin I know of by Alan Moore that was screwed over by Hush Returns would be that of the Joker in the Killing Joke. I'm not sure to be honest though, I've never read HR and I don't plan to.

well if he's talking about the Joker, HR didnt really screw up anything, it just changed his wife from having died in an accident to the mob having killed her when he tried to back out of doing the job...still didnt change Moores point about one bad day being all it takes to drive someone over the edge...

oh, and I liked Riddlers question mark tattoo when he came back after getting pwned by Poison Ivy, much cooler and more subtle than the neon green suit...he should have had them all over his body though, everywhere except his face

I'm sure I read somewhere that a re-vamped Riddler was on the way...

Anyone else hear this?
