🇺🇸 Ridin’ with Biden: It's Joever

US News
Possibly MORE positives than negatives, but I don't think in the current conditions of the election no matter who it is will be in a winning position. Whether that was Biden or anyone else. Which is why we needed a Democrat primary very badly. So if it wasn't going to be Biden, a new candidate had time to sway voters. I don't think they will this close to the election
I agree we should've had a primary. The reason we didn't was Biden and the Dem establishment. They've placed us in a bad place. But I give them credit for trying to fix it, as late as it is. Especially with how well a lot of Dems are running in the battleground states.

I also think Harris only having a few months, means she adds a new energy with not a lot of time to smear her.

That’s what MSM told you. They wanted chaos, they’re getting it now.
I saw Biden mix up names and lie on the debate stage and suck his wife's finger during a rally... So I surely felt he was too old.

What about young voter and POC voters?

Young voters are the least registered and least reliable of all voters. It's why Sanders campaign also lost when he ran. He should have run his campaign on 'I love old people' because old people outvote them.

Can the Dems win without the young vote, with either Biden or someone else?

I th that the best way that they could handled the situation.
But the question is who is her running mate going to be?

Oh, I also give them credit for trying to fix it, and I hope Trump loses. Very very badly I hope he loses. I am just pessimistic given the time frame. I couldn't be happier than if I was wrong on this one

I definitely do not blame you. I think today is the first day I've been optimistic about this whole thing in a month. Tomorrow I'll probably be depressed about it again.

Yeah, I haven't watched much of the election coverage myself cause I know if I did, I would just start spending hundreds of dollars I don't have on figures and such to make me happy, lol

Lies! They're the reason Biden won!

It is crazy that he promised he was only gonna run for one term back in 2020 only to not do that until the very last moment.
People really seem to forget that he was heavily, heavily implying he wasn't going to run this time and then he won and was like, new phone, who dis?

Now whoever it is only have a couple months to sell themselves.
That and the next debate are going to be so key and crucial, not to mention the marketing team needing to work overtime.

One upside to this I can see happening is Conservatives getting complacent with whomever the new Democratic nominee is and not feeling they need to push as hard anymore, but the choice of the new nominee, and whatever they do at the next debate September, out of nowhere really re-energizing Democratic voters, including getting young and brand new voters, to really come forward.

Young people were the huge deciding factor in Joe Biden winning the last election, and I think getting someone quite a bit younger could really appeal even more to that demographic and spur them on even more, possibly in even larger numbers. Trump, now himself being the super old candidate, who at least had the advantage of being more boisterous and “charismatic” than the other old guy, wouldn’t have that advantage anymore, not to mention who he chose as his running mate and what he stands for, namely wanting to take away women’s rights, pissing off Republican female voters.

I guess we’ll see.

At least he can get some rest. :o

There were no more protest votes in 2016 from Bernie supporters who would've voted for the Dem nominee then any other year. It was less then those that refused to vote for Obama in 2008. The issue was Hillary and the Dem establishment not doing enough for the people after having powers for 8 years. 4 of those, unopposed.
I think Obama had all three branches for only 2 years. The first two years then he got wrecked during the midterms.
