To beatin' somebodies ass...

The majority of you know that I was in a car accident over a month ago, in which my car was wrecked.

Got the money on the car, and I've spent the last 3 weeks looking for a car. I decided on a VW Jetta.

My parents went to Fredricksberg to look at this 2000 1.8T VW Jetta.
They said it ran great, looked decent on the inside, however, when my dad returned it from the test drive, the car was leaking oil, and the AC wasn't working.

The person running the lot took $200 off the price, and stated that he'd fix the issues.

1 week later (08-19) we go to pick up the car. We test it. It works fine. AC seemed fix, we saw no oil.

Parentals paid $7,400 in cash. Took an unorganized 2 1/2 hours to do the paper work.

We drive back to Richmond. I drive all the way around town, no problems.

Upon dropping my friend off in The Bottom, my oil light comes on. She states, you'll be okay. You should be able to get back to the West End.

I get around the corner, my car jerks twice, an cuts off. I can't restart it.

I try to start it again a/b 30 minutes later (after talking to the cops, since I'm in the middle of the street in a huge club district, and blocking traffic) it turns, makes a weird noise, sounds like something cracks and falls, and it does nothing again.

When the tow truck gets my car, there's oil everywhere...

Seems the bastards didn't fix the car, and now, I have no God Damn Car...

I owned this car a grand total of... : 12 hours...

I'm whoopin' somebodies ass tomorrow... :down

There are really no words.

I'm sorry. Do you have the 30 day gurantee or something like that?

There's a warranty on the car for 30days or 1,000 miles...

I personally just want my money back.

What my parents said was that wee need to take it to a VW Dealership and get checked out completely. I stated that if the dealership finds damage, equaling to the amount we paid for the car, or more, I want my money back, plus the money I'm going to have to spend on towing.

I towed it to my apartment, b/c this happend a couple of hours ago. That was 90 bucks. I'm going to have to pay to have it towed to a Dealership. That's probably going to be about 50 bucks. I'll possibly have to have it either towed back to my house (50 bucks) or towed back to Fredricksburg... which will probably be about 200 bucks.

I am so pissed right now, you don't understand...

Very understandable.

My advice: Get your money back like you had planned and stay away from that dealership.
Edit: most used car dealerships are just looking for someone to unload a hassle on. :down

If you're going w/ the idea of purchasing a used vehicle, you should probably check out Carmax or a certified Toyota dealership. Those two are probably the best you can find around VA.

I hope it works out for you.

Thanks...

yeah... we were trying to save a car payment. They way things were working out, I was paying my parents back 1,400 bucks anyways.

I just want this over with...

And It was my b-day weekend... I was so happy. New Car, going to get sushi with my Amigo's and shizzy...

I hate my life sometimes...

...But he has Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, and Rasengan!!

but he's coupled w/ the stigma of a nine-tailed fox demon.

A savior who is viewed as a threat.

she has a point... If she had Naruto's powers she would be right now on a stealth assassination mission and she'll grind the dealer's organs with a slow rasengan until he agrees to kiss her boots and give her double the money she paid :ninja:

I love a man that understands what's underneath the underneath...

:(

But with great power comes great responsibility.
And Naruto has shown that, with his determination to become Hokage, and using Kyuubi's power to protect those most important to him. What seemed tobe a horrible burden at birth, has shaped him into the strong young man that he is right now...

Your dad is a ****ty driver. Probably ****ed it up in the test drive. Or maybe he did something to it. I know the type of people that try to run this type of scam, and you are fitting the bill pretty much exactly.

Very true, but how long can it last?

Series finales are away in the blink of an eye. . .

Why didnt you just buy a car that didnt have any problems to begin with?

I can tell you why but I would no doubt be banned for saying it even though it is the truth. Sometimes the truth is ugly.

Now I want to hear it.

Just read the title, read the story, put two and two together, divide by 3, carry the five and you should figure it out yourself.

Ah, so it was some sort of racist comment. Good for you.

I would check to see if your state has a "Lemon Law" on cars. New York has such a law that protects you as a buyer from just such an occurance and you are allowed to return the car with all money returned or having everything fixed free of charge. The pamphlet for it should have been given to you when you bought the car. Check with your Better Business Bureau. I would do it soon in case there's a time limit.

Well, to be fair, he might be refering to the woman part, so it might just be a HIDEOUS misogynistic comment:down:)
