RIP Celebrity Thread - Part 4

I know David Yost was working really hard to reunite all of the original rangers for an original movie. He had the script written and everything and i think he was trying to pitch it to Netflix. If it ever comes to fruition it will be real sad to not have JDF a part of it and JDF was endorsing it too.

 

Ciara Hanna wrote a beautiful tribute to him on Instagram, including a story involving her, JDF and Jason Narvy in Lexington.

 

I can’t believe Jason David Frank is gone as well. So sad. Way too young and it’s very disheartening to know what he was going through. He always came off as a cool guy and I heard nothing but good things about him from people I know that have met him

What a terrible past week for us that grew up in the 90s. First the passing of Kevin Conroy and now Jason

I’m devastated. I met him in 2014 and it was great. RIP JDF.

 

First Batman and now the Green/White Ranger. In the span of two weeks.

 

Jason David Frank was the face of the Power Rangers. and made his contributions to the franchise after 25 years. May the power protect him for all eternity. RIP

 

WOW! First Batman, and now this.

Tommy was always my brother's favorite Ranger. Rest in Peace, Jason David Frank. And may the Power protect you.

Guys, Amy Jo just posted an absolutely heartbreaking vid on IG about JDF. She sings a few beautiful tribute songs to him.

 

I was on the older end when Power Rangers took the world by storm in the 90s, so I wasn't among the many young people whose living they touched.

It's sad to think that two of the original Power Rangers are no longer with us.

 

Even years after the show ended, AJJ and JDF still had that chemistry when they did convention panels together. I’ll always be a Tommy/Kim shipper.

I haven’t see her that distraught since Thuy died back in 2001. My heart breaks for her.

Losing Clarence Gilyard is a hard one. He was a guy with an impressive filmography: Die Hard, Top Gun, Karate Kid 2, Walker Texas Ranger.

 

Dang! Whether he was on Walker, or Matlock, and various other things I’ve seen him in, he was always a solid actor.

 

LOVED him in Die Hard "oh my god the quarterback is toast!"

 

Damn sad news about Gilyard. I liked him in so many things.

 

Best part of the whole movie.

 

In a movie full of memorable side characters, he really stood out in Die Hard. RIP.
