Comics RIP... Donald Thomas' Mom...

It's with great sadness that I announce the passing of Donald's Mom...

In his words...

Aloha to Mom,
It is with much sadness that I share with you the passing of my mom, Rosa Thomas. She was 80 years old and living here in Hawaii with me for the past 5.
Like many mothers, mine didn't particularly like me reading comic books because she felt they were a waste of time. I had to show her at least two new vocabulary words in the comics that I was reading. Needless to say, back in the Silver Age of comics, Stan Lee and other writers loved to use big words.That made reading comics acceptable to mom.
It goes without saying that One More Day- will always have a special meaning for me as a life long Spider-Man fan.
Rest in Peace Mom
You rule

Donald, my old friend, you have my deepest condolences, as I'm sure all your old Hype friends will feel the same as well.

I know it's tough... I lost my mom in 2003 (she was only 69). You're lucky to have had so many years with yours.
