I think they'll probably go with Raymond's regular backstory. It's already been established that Ronnie was in an accident .

To be fair, the CW reuses actors often so he was likely to get another job anyway.

Nothing to support this, but I'd guess they'd spare the Jason/Professor Stein component out of it and just have Ronnie singularly in possession of the Firestorm Matrix. Just to streamline things.

Hmmm... that'd be horribly whack if Firestorm started out just Ronnie... It'd be like Shazam without the "Shazam!" Firestorm's best attributes come from him being two people. Interesting if he could kinda fuse with anyone and both HG Harrison Wells and Barry got in on the action before finally settling with Jason Rusch perhaps in a return appearance later in the season. Also, having Professor Stein find Robbie by creating Firestorm could be pretty cool.

Here here to Gypsy, love to see Jean Loring around Atom and though I doubt we'll see stretchy powers on TV, the Super Buddies are cool in my book.

While this is good news, I do think they should spend as much time establishing the Flash as a superhero and character first before they bombard the show with other heroes.

Look at Smallville, the show didn't introduce another hero until season 4. I'm not saying they should copy the show o' course but just that the show was a success because they so solidly established Clark so the audience could latch onto him first before bringing in the other big players in DC.
