Just watched the 1st two episodes of this. These histories aren't so "secret," but I'm always here for in-depth looks at these stories. I just hope DC gets a showcase episode like Marvel got in the premiere. They had a rather dismissive attitude toward DC's characters/contributions in that ep which was a bit off-putting, imo.

I appreciated the fair treatment of Stan Lee. There's a tendency to lionize him whilst omitting his faults and this show did a good job of portraying a more accurate, rounded picture of the man behind the persona of "Stan Lee" that he created, particularly with regards to the rift between him and Jack Kirby.

This has been good. The creation of Wonder Woman ep was a bit dull for me, but I've generally been quite entertained. Hope it gets a second season. There's still got to be tons to talk about. All that Wertham ****, the one-two punch of TDKR and Watchmen (or just one dedicated to Alan Moore as a whole), the rise of Mature Readers comics...

Yeah, I too enjoyed this. Felt a little...self-serving to make the finale about Image Comics, but I get it. Hope they make more. Would LOVE to see an ep about that 80's game-change with Moore, Miller, etc.

I remember, when Len Wein died, seeing a bit about the British Invasion that he ushered into comics at DC. That could make a pretty worthwhile episode.
