I had to put my headphones on and blast it to hear the audio, idk if it'll work better on anyone else's computer.

You have to listen of like 3 mins of Happy Feet discussion, but still, they get a lil TDK in the end and I think Williams still wants to play Joker one day, or as he said, "Any character who is sick and depraved".

Riddler still works for me IMO.

*sigh* I'm gonna get blasted for this:

Why, exactly, do people want Robin Williams in these films? Yes, I do know he was in Insomnia - I've been a Nolan fan since well before Begins - and he was good but...why? I just don't get it.

I wouldn't mind Williams in that type of role, as long as it's not anyone major. I think he's too big of a name at this point.

He'd be great as Calendar Man or something though. Having him conversate with Batman ala TLH and DV would be great.

because robin williams is an amazing actor and he has a tendancy to play sick and demented characters........and very well I might add. The real question Miranda, is why not?

I'm not denying he's good at those roles, I just can't help but think he'd end up going over the top or something.

The way he answered in the last part of the interview, I don't think you'd have to worry about that if he were to be cast in a role.

Fair enough. :) It would be amusing irony if he was to play the Riddler..

Exactamundo!

Williams antics fit better in the "Shumacher" BAtman movies, not Nolans'.

......who said the guy had to be funny and have his "antics"? Have u not seen his dramas? Dude can obviously act and do things seriously. And I'm sorry, but Robin Williams is a powerfull enough of an actor that he'd be good in a Shumacher movie, kinda like how good (and she was the only one) Uma Thurman was in B&R.

one hour photo?

the man REEKS creepy while being so quiet

with the right direction (ahem, nolans) he could pull it off

Don't forget Insomnia and Good Will Hunting where he won his Oscar.

he could play Man-Bat and all he'd need would be a mask and wings.

Thursday, November 16, 2006 - 2:25 PM Check out LATINO REVIEW's video interview with Robin Williams where he states his desire to be in TDK. Williams says he'd like to have any role that's "unusual" and makes several references to "Arkham Asylum."

Hey, I know he wanted to be The Joker, but I suggested him for Oswald Cobblepot a while back -- if The Penguin ends up in the movie as was rumored. Thanks to "Anjow" for the heads up."

I love Robin Williams as an actor. I would LOVE to have him as Ventriloquist, he could be absolutely awesome. I don't think he's going to be in TDK though.

I do hope Nolan honors that request. I mean, Williams has certainly been in enough movies to be owed a bit of a favor now and then.

Not to mention, I'm sure he's talented enough to successfully play any number of parts Nolan could give him.
